Le Pont de la Tour…THE PLACE TO BE!

As you, my fans, may know, I’m a London big fan. I love The City and the easy way it turns me in a more tolerant and flexible person. Among those things, I adore such “class” of the restaurants, where the service quality is more than clean napkins and a well set table. It involves taking care of the thiniest detail.

For this spring time I’d like to recommend, blindfolded, Le Pont de la Tour, by the Thames, it is just the place to be in London.

Runned by a very special Chef, promising a successful career with the biggest at the UK thanks to his youth, charm and strong character, Let me introduce a Lee Bennet.

Lee Bennet - Le pont de la Tour

BIO. (by Le Pont de la Tour) Lee Bennett has worked under some ofthe best chefs in the business, such as Gordon Ramsay, Pierre Gagnaire and Alain Ducasse at the Hotel Plaza Athénée in Paris.

His first head chef position was at the Michelin starred Savoy Grill, under executive chef Marcus Wareing, where he oversaw two restaurants, private dining and a chef’s table.

At 27, Lee was the youngest chef to win the Craft Guild of Chefs ‘Restaurant Chef’ award in 2007. He moved to Le Pont de la Tour in January 2008 to take up the position of Head Chef where he has created a modern menu rooted in French tradition, using only the freshest ingredients.

Relax in style over the long Easter weekend in the stylish surroundings of the bubbling restaurant that gives diners great food and unparalleled views of the Tower Bridge, the Gherkin and the thrilling London skyline.

Wash down lunch or dinner with a classic Burgundy or a vintage Bordeaux recommended by Head Sommelier, Nicolas Clerc, who will be on hand to advise you with your selection.
